Mudgee's newest motel

Currently known as the Cudgegong Valley Motel we are a small 16 key motel in Mudgee. In June and July of this year we are undertaking a major renovation, reopening mid August with a brand new product, a new name and a new brand. We are looking for a progressive motel operator to lead the operations of the motel in this new chapter.

Because of the size of the motel this is a combined role; part guest experience, part sales, and part property management.

The most important requirement is the right attitude. This is a hands-on role, which means you have the opportunity to drive innovation across the entire business. We are looking for a motel manager who sees and appreciates that opportunity. We are looking for a motel manager who is excited to build a valued accommodation service in Mudgee, somewhere that guests want to return to and a property that helps contribute to Mudgee’s desirability as a destination.

You will have valuable experience of motel operations, from guest experience to financial performance. The motel industry is evolving at a rapid pace. We are looking for a motel manager that wants to be at the forefront of that change. So we will be looking for someone that has proven experience of taking initiative and achieving success. Broader hospitality experience will be valued. As will familiarity with the Mudgee region.
