We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Manager to join our store at PaintRight in Cairns. This is a Permanent Full Time position.

The Paint Specialists Cairns (part of the PaintRight Group of stores) is a locally owned paint store proudly serving the Cairns community for over 30 Years. Our store provides a broad range of paint related products, and professional advice, to long established Retail and Trade customers.

About the role:

We are looking for a Store Manager with experience working within the paint industry. As Store Manager, you are responsible for the full operational running of the store. We require a Team Member who can work in a diverse and at times fast pace store. The candidate must be willing and able to learn products which they may not be currently familiar with.

As the Store Manager you will be:

· Delivering outstanding customer service,

· Training, motivating and up skilling your team

· Assisting our customers face to face and over the phone keeping them informed of promotional activity and to gain an understanding of their business needs and wants.

· You will also perform or manage regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing or inward goods

· Using Pallet jacks or forklift to assist with manual handling

· Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentations to the required standards.

· Responsible for ensuring the store operates safely and effectively at all times

What are the Minimum Requirements?

· Experience as a Paint Store manager or a 2IC in a similar role

· Basic Computer and POS software knowledge.

· A full Drivers Licenses

· A Current Forklift license or the willingness to obtain one.

· Ability to regularly handle container weights of up to 25Kg

· Able to work shifts from 7am - 4pm

· Able to work Every 2nd Saturday 8am -1 pm (With a rostered day off to offset this).
