Role Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the subcontract process, including tendering, preparation, letting, payment, and post-project completion activities.

Prepare and manage subcontractor procurement schedules, scopes, tender packages, and finalise subcontracts through thorough review and negotiation.

Support project financial management, including progress claims, subcontractor claims, external variations, and financial reporting and analysis.

Track and monitor project expenditure, ensuring alignment with budgets and providing proactive cost management support.

Provide practical contractual advice to the project team, ensuring clear communication and adherence to contractual obligations.

Administer project documentation accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company business systems and timely communication of all project details.

Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of project planning and programming to support project delivery.

Coordinate design aspects and manage consultant meetings, ensuring alignment of design outputs with project requirements.

Manage the administration of RFIs for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely project communication.

Uphold and promote safety compliance across all responsibilities, contributing to a safe and compliant site environment.

Role Requirements:

Minimum 4+ years' experience delivering Commercial, Education, Industrial, Health Care, Aged Care, Retail, Leisure, or Government projects, ideally valued between $10M–$85M+.

Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Demonstrated expertise in subcontract tendering, trade letting, supplier negotiations, and contract finalisation.

Solid understanding of subcontract standards, tender processes, and market pricing strategies.

Strong client management skills, with the ability to build trusted and lasting relationships.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity, influence, and professionalism.

Highly organised, with outstanding time management and a sharp attention to detail.

Ability to drive procurement outcomes that add value and minimise project risk.

Experience using project financial management systems such as Jobpac or CHEOPS (preferred but not essential).

A proactive, solutions-driven mindset, capable of thriving in fast-paced project environments.
