About the role

Discover Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified or working towards Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic team at our early learning centre in Osborne Park, WA. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and their families. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging educational programs that support the holistic development of our children.

What you'll be doing

Plan and implement high-quality, play-based educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that fosters children's exploration, creativity, and social-emotional development

Observe and document children's progress, adjusting programs to meet their individual needs and interests

Build strong relationships with children and their families, fostering open communication and collaboration

Contribute to the overall operations of the centre, including participation in team meetings and professional development opportunities

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to early childhood education

What we're looking for

A completed Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), equivalent qualification or working towards

Experience working in an early learning or childcare setting, preferably in a teacher role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Demonstrated understanding of child development and the ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate programs

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating positive outcomes for children

Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework and other relevant early childhood education regulations and guidelines

A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
