Coastal Kids Care Incorporated is a Not for Profit operated Centre with a vision and mission to always act in the best interest of the children, promote high-quality early education and build local community partnerships. Our Service is currently licenced for 48 children.

About the role

We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to work in partnership at our Centre. The position of Early Childhood Teacher is for flexible hours. We are also seeking motivated, enthusiastic, experienced and Qualified candidates who can inspire, challenge and extend pedagogy of Educators through joint collaboration at our boutique Coastal Service. Must have a minimum of Cert 111.

Skills and experience

Essential:

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education /Teaching or ACECQA approved equivalent.

Diploma or CERT 3 MINIMUM ONLY

Thorough understanding of the National Quality Standards and observation cycle as per the EYLF and MTOP

A good grasp in applying early childhood developmental theories to assess children's learning.

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate behaviour guidance for children 0 to 12 years old.

Kind, nurturing and caring personality with oodles of enthusiasm to do what is best for the children.

Able to build positive and sustainable relationships with service families.

Committed to continuous professional development.

Desirable:

Formal training or experience in implementing the EYLF and the MTOP in an Early Childhood Setting.
