About us

Ceres Distilling Co is Geelong's newest craft distillery. Located in Grove dale a few doors down from Blackmans Brewery. The distillery features a 68 person front of house, serves its own spirits, Gin, Vodka and Whiskey. We have a simple small plate/pizza menu designed for sharing. The distillery can be viewed by our guests. The space is inviting, and most of our guests go "wow" when they walk in for the first visit. The business is open; Friday 4-9pm Saturday 1-7pm. We have a happy hour Fridays 4-6pm and Saturdays 1-2pm.

We have a small team, one or two front of house staff plus the two owners.

Qualifications & experience

A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is required.

A food handling certificate is desirable.

Tasks & responsibilities

Experienced bartender required at Geelong's newest Distillery, Ceres Distilling Co. Duties include serving drinks and food and guest liaison.

Benefits

You will learn about distilling spirits in the distillery, matching food and drink to the distilleries evolving products. Creating new cocktails seasonally to keep the drinks menu interesting.

The role is casual.

We run a Distilling Masterclass experience the second Saturday of the month and a Make Your Own Gin experience the third Saturday of the month.
