About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse (RN/M1) at the Riverland Aboriginal Health Service, you will provide essential nursing services to consumers across various healthcare settings. You will embark on a journey of professional growth, developing from a novice practitioner towards a proficient level through practical experience and a commitment to ongoing learning. Within our supportive environment, you will consolidate your nursing knowledge and skills, ensuring you are equipped to deliver high-quality care. You will be accountable for upholding your own standards of nursing care and will take responsibility for any activities you delegate to other members of the team. Your dedication will directly contribute to the delivery of quality healthcare services for the Aboriginal communities within the Riverland region.
As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C) at the Riverland Aboriginal Health Service, you will provide expert nursing services to consumers across a variety of health service settings. You will operate as a developing proficient practitioner, drawing upon your consolidated experience and potentially further studies to enhance your skills. You will be accountable for maintaining high practice standards and for the appropriate delegation of activities to others. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to provide valuable guidance and support to foster the professional growth of less experienced staff members. Furthermore, you will undertake assigned portfolio responsibilities, specifically negotiated to align with your individual career development plan. Your expertise and dedication will directly contribute to achieving positive health outcomes for the Aboriginal communities within the Riverland region.
What We’re Looking For:
RN/M1
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
RN/M2C
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

Applicant Information
This is a part time vacancy, working 64 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
