Client Service Representative

Location: St George Vets, Kogarah

Position: Full-Time Client Service Representative

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm

Job Description:

As a Client Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your role plays a vital part in ensuring our clients and their pets feel welcomed, informed, and supported throughout their visit. Your role will involve managing the front desk, handling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations and create a welcoming environment for our clients.

This role is primarily based at our Kogarah hospital, with regular shifts at our Carlton hospital every Monday.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.

Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with the veterinary team.

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information on our services.

Handle client check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and maintain accurate records.

Manage electronic and paper files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Assist with general office tasks, including filing and data entry.

Address client concerns and provide support in a friendly and efficient manner.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Qualifications:

Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential for this role to ensure effective communication with our client base.

Exceptional customer service skills required. Experience in the veterinary industry is strongly preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards pets and their owners.

Proficiency in basic computer applications and office equipment.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Experience with WeChat is highly desirable to assist with client communication, but not essential.
