Ready to be a driving force in a company that's literally shaping the future of construction? An Australian-owned innovator is on the hunt for a Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) Manager to champion our client’s commitment to excellence.
Forget just ticking boxes. This isn't your average compliance role. You'll be at the forefront of embedding a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring our client not only meets but exceeds legislative requirements, and solidifying their reputation as an industry leader through outstanding performance.
Imagine yourself as the go-to expert, reporting to the Director responsible for compliance (currently their Marketing Manager) and functionally collaborating with their Construction Manager. Based in their head office, you'll have the opportunity to influence projects across diverse sectors.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
- Lead with Vision: Steer our client’s objectives in health, safety, environment, and quality, working together with teams to make their ambitious goals a reality.
- Champion Safety & Wellbeing: Spearhead health and safety management, orchestrate impactful audits and reviews, meticulously investigate incidents, and develop robust emergency response plans. You'll be the voice and advocate for a safety-first mindset across the entire company.
- Guard the Environment: Drive their environmental initiatives, from planning and audits to insightful training and on-the-ground inspections. Your expertise will ensure projects tread lightly on the planet.
- Elevate Quality Assurance: Be the architect of quality framework, leading implementation, audits, and continuous improvement. You'll empower teams and subcontractors to deliver excellence at every stage.
- Empower People: Act as their Return-to-Work Coordinator, guiding and supporting team members through their rehabilitation journey.
- Build and Maintain Excellence: Develop, administer, and champion integrated SHEQ management system. You'll be the pulse on industry best practices and legislative changes, providing insightful reports to shape the future.
- Be a Culture Catalyst: Embody and promote the companies’ values and code of conduct, setting the standard for SHEQ adherence across all levels, including on-site and with our valued contractors.
- Equip and Empower: Develop and deliver engaging staff training programs, ensuring everyone has the knowledge and skills to uphold SHEQ standards.
This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to make a tangible impact in a company that values innovation, quality, and its people.
If you're a passionate and driven SHEQ professional ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you! Apply now or contact Claire Leybourne at [email protected]
