The Package: $83,240.04 - $91,978.64 gross per annum + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 12 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.
Full time – 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements will be considered for this role.

In this role you will:
Plan, produce, and manage Council’s communication channels, including newsletters, social media, media releases, and other written content.
Design and develop communication materials such as fact sheets, graphics, posters, videos, and other collateral to support Council initiatives.
Provide strategic communication advice and support across Council, fostering effective engagement with the community, strengthening Council’s reputation, and ensuring timely, accurate information is shared via media liaison.
We are looking for someone who:
Demonstrates experience or qualifications in communications, public relations, journalism or similar, with clear and confident communication skills.
Demonstrates skills to create engaging content, including for social media.
Is a positive team player who contributes and delivers results.
