Our client are a US listed tech business who operate globally with offices in all parts of the world.

The Opportunity
Our client are looking to hire a Senior Payroll Officer to the business for a period of 7 months to cover an existing MAT leave cover. This would be a standalone role, dealing with an outsourced provider and completing the payroll for 240 employees on a monthly basis end to end. Given the business are constantly expanding there is a view that a permanent role could be on offer towards the back end of the contract.

Job Responsibilities

• Processing monthly payroll for240 employees
• Interpretation of relevant industry award
• Maintain accurate employee data including onboarding/terminations
• Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation & regulation
• Review calculations and process superannuation, leave entitlements and other payroll-related adjustments
• Responding to payroll queries
• Provide support to the Finance Manager with AD HOC reporting/project related tasks

Ideal Candidate

• ADP systems experience ESSENTIAL
• Previous standalone payroll processing experience
• Willingness to identify and suggest process improvements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
