About you

You are an experienced Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Coordinator with experience conducting maintenance on general equipment and vehicles. You are able to abide by all company procedures. You have strong leadership skills with the ability to problem solve in a remote location.

About the role
We are seeking a Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Coordinator who will be based at Bamurru Plains, a member of Luxury Lodges of Australia to ensure that infrastructure, vehicles and equipment are maintained to ensure the safety and quality Wild Bush Luxury guest experience at Bamurru Plains.

Key responsibilities:

Automotive and Mechanical trade qualifications highly desirable

Develop and Manage a property and equipment maintenance plan to ensure preventative maintenance is carried out

Carry out onsite property maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of operations and guest experience.

Liaise with maintenance and equipment suppliers where outside sourcing of parts and servicing is required

Ensure fleet of boats and vehicles are serviced and in good operating order for guest activities as per maintenance schedule.

Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, carpentry, and general repairs.

Maintain, trouble shoot and repair a solar power system.

Check on functioning and compliance of fire and safety equipment.

Management of a clean and procedural workshop environment.

Monitoring of Lodge conditions - front of house and back of house, carrying out maintenance where required.

Maintenance of swimming pool and grounds around the Lodge.

Liaison with onsite team for training re cleanliness or handling of equipment to ensure longevity of infrastructure.

Coordinating vehicle maintenance checklists & liaison accordingly with Field Guides.

Supply trips to Darwin as required.

Assisting on an ad hoc basis with general Lodge duties.
