About the business and the role

A local Sunshine Coast food wholesaler that has been in operation for 30+ years is looking for a new staff member to join their successful team.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Duties Include:

• Packing orders for existing customers.
• Creating Invoices for these orders.
• Delivering these orders to the customers
• Increasing sales to existing customers.
• Locating and signing up new customers.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of food & food preparation - chefs, butchers, bakers.
• Must be physically fit as plenty of lifting and carrying involved.
• Clean Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Having a MR or HR licence would be an advantage, but if not, it must be obtained within the first month of commencing work.
• Must be able to work successfully in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills are a must.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday.
• Start: 5:30 am Finish: 3.00 pm
• No work on public holidays.
• Staff discount off stock purchases.

Selling:

• Must have a passion for food and love talking about it.
• Sales targets / KPI's are in place.
• Monthly bonuses are paid when targets are exceeded.
