PDHS Wholesale Supplies is looking for two motivated people to join our expanding team.

1. Full Time Delivery Driver / Store Person

2. Casual Delivery Driver/ Store Person

The successful applicant/s will be responsible for managing Business to Business deliveries from our Port Douglas Warehouse to our customers in Port Douglas, Mossman, Daintree, Cairns, Palm Cove and the Northern Beaches areas.

Initially the role will see you working from our Port Douglas Warehouse however within 3 months the role will be based permanently from our Cairns warehouse with daily deliveries to the above areas.

A vehicle will be provided initially for Cairns based applicants to commute from Cairns to Port Douglas daily.

You will work closely with our sales team and to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of goods.

Positions are available for an immediate start for the right person.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Organising and planning of delivery runs to ensure efficient delivery of goods

· Pick/Pack orders accurately for dispatch

· Loading of delivery vehicles

· Delivering goods accurately to customers ensuring correct delivery paperwork is completed

· Collection of products from suppliers

· Replenishment of stock in line with inventory management processes

· Inspection of goods received for damage or discrepancies

· Receipt and process returned stock into warehouse

· Handle and move inventory and materials safely and efficiently in the warehouse

· Maintain inventory control procedures and adhering to delivery processes

· Assist in regular stock takes

· Stock control and rotation

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:

· You must be physically fit and able to undertake lifting of up to 20kg.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

· High attention to detail

· Strong levels of reliability and punctuality

· Ability to think on your feet, use initiative & be enthusiastic and motivated

· The ability to plan your own workload and work unsupervised

· Basic computer skills

· Knowledge of safe working practices including safe lifting

· Current Driver’s Licence (preferably manual)

· Forklift Licence / Experience desirable however not mandatory

· Previous experience working as a driver or Storeperson desirable however not essential
