About the role
As a Delivery Driver with The Wholesale Fruit Company, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fresh produce is delivered to customers across the local area in a timely and efficient manner. This full-time position is based in the Brisbane Markets at Rocklea, with a refrigerated delivery van provided for you to carry out your daily deliveries.

40 hours per week

Monday, Thursday & Friday – 3am to 11am (finish time will vary - finish once returned from delivery run)

Tuesday & Wednesday - 4am to around 10am (finish time will vary - finish once returned from delivery run)

Every second Saturday - 4am to around 9.00am (finish time will vary - finish once returned from delivery run)

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate a company delivery van to transport fresh fruit and vegetables to customers
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all items are carefully handled
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including delivery notes and invoices
• Represent The Wholesale Fruit Company professionally when interacting with customers
• Assist with warehouse operations as required, including stock replenishment and order picking
• Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• A current Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
• A current MR Licence preferred
• At least 2 years' experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the food or logistics industry
• Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure deliveries are made on time
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items
• A proactive and safety-focused approach to your work
