About the Role:

We are seeking Victoria-based Clinical Coders with specialist expertise in Subacute coding - including General, Rehabilitation, and Mental Health (Psychiatric) casemix, to work remotely on a contract basis for a leading Victorian hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major healthcare provider's complex casemix, ensuring timely and accurate coding for a range of subacute services.

With flexible working hours (minimum 15 hours per week) and competitive pay, this position offers the chance to work with modern systems like Cerner and IPM, while playing a key role in coding for a prestigious health service.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 15 hours availability per week (flexible scheduling available).

Extensive coding experience in Subacute: General, Rehabilitation, and Mental Health settings.

Ability to meet a 15 records per hour KPI, with a focus on accuracy.

Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and Australian Coding Standards (ACS).

Proficiency in using Cerner and IPM systems.

Ability to work autonomously, manage workload effectively, and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to coding queries.
