Job Description
Reporting to the Director Business Services, the Senior Procurement Lead will be an embedded resource within a project team (Gaming System Replacement) to lead the development and management of medium to high-risk contracts and provides specialist advice to senior stakeholders on procurement policy, procurement planning, contract formation contract management activities.

The Gaming System Replacement (GSR) project is a Lotterywest key strategic initiative to replace our existing gaming platforms and associated services. This large-scale, multiyear program of work is essential to Lotterywest sustaining and enhancing its business for the next 15 years and provides a unique opportunity to be involved in a significant program that will drive change across people, processes, and technology. The role is critical in supporting the GSR project team by leading procurement and contract management requirements key to this, is understanding the project’s needs and challenges to offer customer focussed solutions and sourcing expert advice when necessary.

The role has the following key focus areas:

Leads the delivery of procurement services

Advises on government procurement and contract management policies

Managing risk and ensuring compliance with Government requirements

Stakeholder management

Continuous improvement

About you, you have:

Demonstrated experience in providing support and advice on procurement and contract management for goods, services and, defining and facilitating better practices.

Demonstrated experience in the development and management of complex, high-risk contracts.

High level conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.

Demonstrated high level experience identifying and implementing impactful initiatives and process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance and customer experience.

Highly developed communication skills and the ability to tailor and deliver high quality content for diverse audiences and formats.

High level interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships and influence effectively
