The Role

The Senior Product Design Manager will lead a growing team of design managers and senior individual contributors working across multiple digital product streams. The role sits at the intersection of design quality, leadership development, and strategic influence—requiring a strong design background, experience leading other managers, and a passion for creating inclusive and high-impact customer experiences. You’ll play a key role in elevating design standards, embedding customer-led thinking, and helping shape future digital priorities in close partnership with product and technology peers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of design managers and senior designers across multiple product domains
• Drive alignment between design, product, and engineering to deliver cohesive and scalable experiences
• Shape and evolve design systems, operations, and rituals to support growth and consistency
• Champion inclusive and data-informed design practices that balance customer and business needs
• Represent the design function in senior cross-functional forums, influencing roadmaps and priorities
• Foster a high-performing, growth-oriented team culture and contribute to hiring and workforce planning
• Embed design leadership as a strategic lever within a highly collaborative product organisation

About You

• Proven experience in product design leadership, with direct management of other design leaders
• Strong grounding in user-centred design, design systems, and scaled product delivery
• Background in high-traffic digital environments—experience in e-commerce or B2C platforms preferred
• Adept at coaching, mentoring, and growing design talent in a fast-paced setting
• Confident stakeholder and people leader with excellent communication and influencing skills
• Passion for design excellence, inclusivity, and driving measurable outcomes for both users and business
