Children's Corner Learning Centre in Ringwood is purpose-built centre, which locates in the heart of Ringwood. We are now seeking a chef who is for covering a maternity leave to join in the team and help to bring learning to life! This is a fantastic opportunity to join our centre with a fun and supportive management team.

Essential Skills for being recruited as a Kitchen Assistant for maternity leave cover 8 months (The position is Mon -Fri 8am to 4 pm. There is possibility to be recruited with ongoing casual hours in the future.)

Have experience of similar position (1 -2 years)

Have experience to meet each child's specific health care need or dietary requirements, especially allergy requirement.

Food Handling certificate or Food Safety Supervisor Certification.

Preparing nutritious meals for our children.

Understanding of menu planning, ordering, prepping and cooking daily meals.

Fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's curiosity, creativity, and wellbeing.

Establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships with families, communicating effectively and involving them in their child's learning journey.

Upholding the center's policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards. Enjoy greeting people in a friendly manner.

Display good verbal and time management skills.

A keen eye for detail with commitment to food safety practices.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Having experiences working in the kitchen of a childcare center desirable
