About the Role
The Project Delivery Branch is responsible for compilation of the ten-year capital works program, the coordination and safe delivery of all allocated capital projects and management of the Council Asset Management systems and protocols.
We are seeking one Permanent Full-Time and one Temporary Full-Time Administration Officers to perform administrative functions in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the relevant legislation, policies, procedures and systems. Other key responsibilities include:
Ensure all Financial Transactions are processed according to agreed timeframes. Including but not limited to internal and external purchasing transactions, contract retentions, QLEAVE payments and purchase card reconciliations.
Assist with the planning and coordination of project events and the collation of the capital works newsletter and other branch documentation as required.
Manage the distribution of Project Newsletters to ensure adequate public notice prior to the commencement of construction works. Includes preparation, gaining approvals and distribution via mail, hand and/or electronic
Ensure all Customer Service Requests (CRM’s) are allocated to the relevant unit or person and updated as required
About you
You are ideally Cert III qualified in Business Administration or similar, accompanied by significant administration experience. Your well-rounded understanding of legislation, policies, standards, regulations and procedures relating to project management are desirable for your success.
Pivotal to this position are your outstanding time management skills with exceptional attention to detail in resolving routine challenges. You pride yourself on the customer experience and enjoy working as part of a team to achieve common goals. Your ‘can-do’ attitude will see you thrive in this role.
As someone well-versed in computer skills, your expertise in, data entry and the Microsoft Office Suite will be highly utilised in this role. You will have a willingness to learn other software and corporate systems as necessary.
