About the role
The Administration Officer plays a crucial role as the face of the organisation and in providing quality, efficient and effective administrative and operational support across DVAC’s offices. The position supports the Business Services Team to ensure organisational compliance and high standards in core business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact, liaising with clients, agencies, and the public in a professional manner
Provide administrative support to the CEO, Leadership Team, and various departments
Assist with data entry, maintaining registers, and processing correspondence
Support recruitment processes and onboarding new staff
Contribute to the management of DVAC property, fleet, and other assets
Provide occasional back-up support to the Finance Officer
Qualifications and Experience:
Highly developed clerical and administration skills
Extensive experience in reception and administration
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
Commitment to providing high-standard customer service
Experience managing petty cash and minor budgets
Personal Attributes:
Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for working in a values-led organisation
Ability to remain calm and professional in crisis-driven environments
