ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior ICT Systems Administrator to join our ICT team in supporting and maintaining a broad, multi-site ICT environment. You will play a key role in the management and enhancement of our network and server infrastructure, disaster recovery and backup systems, cybersecurity platforms, and service desk operations.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and maintain enterprise-wide infrastructure including Microsoft Server technologies, VMware, Dell Servers, and CISCO networking hardware
- Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity systems to ensure organisational compliance and business continuity
- Provide technical leadership, including support and mentoring to Level 1 and 2 ICT staff
- Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL Servers, and Red Hat Linux environments
- Lead the implementation of IT projects including audits, upgrades, and penetration testing
- Monitor and document network health, perform server patching, and liaise with vendors to ensure systems are secure and fit for purpose
- Support telephony, endpoint imaging, and manage cybersecurity tools including Privilege Access Management and Endpoint Protection
- Represent ICT in organisational meetings and compliance committees
You’ll be working across multiple locations including Wangaratta, Wodonga, Shepparton, and Myrtleford, contributing to essential services in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
ABOUT YOU
You are a solutions-focused professional with strong technical expertise, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage complex systems with minimal supervision.
You will bring:
- A Diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Technology (AQF Level 5), or significant industry experience
- Extensive experience with Microsoft-based infrastructure including server and networking management
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, SOPHOS XG Firewalls, RED HAT Linux servers, and disaster recovery processes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, risk mitigation and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated experience working in multi-site environments and managing ICT projects end-to-end
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel between locations as required
REMUNERATION
Victorian Stand Alone Community Health Services (Health and Allied Services, Managers & Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement
Classification Grade 3 $41.79 plus Superannuation (plus $15,900 Salary Packaging)
