We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our friendly and supportive Finance Services team. We offer attractive salary packaging with a culture that supports work-life balance.
The Financial Accountant is responsible for assisting the Manager Finance and Facilities to deliver in collaboration with Executive and Management strategic financial management plans that respond to the strategic directions of SCHS. Central to the role is the development of strong financial controls in SCHS operations and accounting support to SCHS’ Executive Operational Group. The position will assist with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with legislative requirements and perform all other facets of the finance services team as required.
To be successful in the role, applicants will have a degree qualification in Accounting, Business or Finance, or equivalent years of experience, minimum 3 years’ experience. Demonstrated experience in interpreting financial statements to assess performance, proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated proficiency in excel, and experience with complex reconciliations is required.
