Responsibilities Include:

Provide a safe working environment within the plant & ensure employees follow all company WH&S Policies and Procedures.

Effectively manage the Plant during a shift by deploying employees and resources as necessary to achieve or better production efficiency, quality, waste, and cost standards (CPC).

Drive and continuously improve Plant Operations to achieve the lowest possible costs and best possible outcomes.

Use the minimum possible labour in all circumstances, minimising employee hours in the event production lines cannot be utilised.

Accurately report production figures and ensure all shift paperwork is completed. Assist to track and correct reporting errors.

Ensure all products are always produced to Quality and Customer Specifications. Ensure non-compliant product is effectively quarantined.

Ensure full compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality test, sampling, and sanitation activities. Actively participate in preparations for / execution of internal and external audits (HACCP).

Maintain and enhance standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) ensuring the plant is tidy and clean including monitoring sanitation, CIP activities and micro tests.

Complete daily reporting requirements.

Lead problem-solving activities for your team, using structured problem-solving tools and methods.

Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Effectively manage your team, including breaks, training plans and skills requirements.

Drive GMP standards on the factory floor – Participate in scheduled audits, work closely with Site Quality to identify and implement improvements.

Drive accountability with Site Critical Control Points (CCP) and HACCP Plan through your team.

Adhere to WH&S Policy and programs to ensure personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills:

At least eight (8) years manufacturing experience, preferably in the beverage industry.

Previous experience in Production Supervision in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Manufacturing environment.

Excellent people management skills, technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to execute plans and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Desire to build and develop a team and processes for the long term.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
