About the Role
The Digital & Information Services Branch delivers agile and transformative information and technology, enabling council to be a leader in providing innovative and sustainable services to its communities.
The Training & Communications Coordination Officer role focuses on increasing organisational and community capabilities through knowledge sharing, presentations, training and events
Primarily in this role, you will:
Undertake planning, coordination and delivery of training and communications that reflect the initiatives in the Digital Plan and support the business to embrace rapid emergence of technology.
Take a strategic role in establishing and nurturing key partnerships and stakeholder groups to champion change, uptake, and delivery of initiatives in the Digital Plan.
Develop reliable and meaningful Communication and Training guidelines that inform and educate customers across our diverse organisation.
Coordinate the capture of message requirements through to multi-channel communication channels to reach audiences, both internal and external to the organisation and wherever they are most active and engaged.
About you
As a requirement of this role, you will possess a Certificate IV TAE10440 in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent combined with relevant experience. A professional in this field will have demonstrated strong project management and organisation skills as well as demonstrated ability to develop plans, foster cooperation and collaboration among stakeholders, coordinate actions and deliver outcomes on time.
Vital to your success in this role, you will be able to work effectively as part of high performing team you will possess a current “C” class driver’s license.
Experience in event venue operations management or comparable experience or an ICT environment is desirable however not essential.
