About the Role

The Technical Support Analyst is responsible for providing high quality support and service to customers via the provision of troubleshooting and quickly resolving technical concerns and questions.

Will also be responsible for working through requests for support, system down emergencies, errors and triage of hardware, software, network and telephony issues.

The key areas the Technical Support Analyst will be involved in are:

Provide high quality, proactive and thoughtful service to resolve technical questions and issues as well as educate customers on system capabilities

Manage, monitor, escalate and resolve customer issues via ticketing system, including thorough documentation to provide support and resolution

Produce and maintain high quality documentation on IT procedures and policies

Experience, Skills and Attributes

2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar role

Qualified to a degree level or equivalent in an IT discipline essential

Demonstrated working knowledge of working in/around Windows, networks (LAN/WANS) client server applications and telephony protocols

Solid working knowledge of networking and Cisco technologies

Microsoft MCP or MCSE certification

Demonstrated ability to effectively identify system hardware/software problems and confidently provide a remedy

Ability to comprehend and work with new and emerging technologies

Knowledge of project management methodologies

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills – demonstrate customer service excellence

The desire and ability to contribute to a cohesive team environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential

Experience with Heat (or similar) helpdesk ticketing system
