About the role

As a Barista/All Rounder at Coffee Boothers' in Merrimac, Gold Coast, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee beverages. Reporting to the Cafe Manager, this casual position will see you working alongside a talented team of passionate baristas and hospitality professionals. With a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere, you will be responsible for the full customer experience, from taking orders and operating the espresso machine to maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of coffee and specialty beverages to customers

Operating the espresso machine, grinders, and other barista equipment with precision

Providing friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience

Maintaining a clean and well-stocked workspace, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment

Assisting with general cafe duties, such as food preparation, counter service, and light cleaning as required

Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role within the hospitality industry

A passion for coffee and the ability to craft high-quality, visually appealing beverages

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused approach

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A willingness to learn and continuously improve your barista and customer service skills

Must have own transport, early morning shifts (4:30am)

Must have weekend availability
