The Role:

Cater Care seeks to appoint a Part-Time Chef at one of our key aged care sites in The Basin, Victoria.

Roster: Tuesday and Saturday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Preparing & presenting food for our residents
• Ongoing menu development & refinement
• Support bulk cooking operations
• Deliver meals via tray service as required
• Provide excellent customer service to residents
• Prepare and serve texture-modified foods according to dietary requirements
• Perform general kitchen duties, including dishwashing

Your Background:

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
• Adherence to food & general safety practices
• Baking experience is desirable
