Position: Survey Draftsperson

Burton & Field is seeking a competent Survey Draftsperson at our EPPING Office.

As a Survey Draftsperson, it is expected that you can work with minimal supervision, complete drawings and preliminary plans from survey field notes.

You should be familiar with AutoCAD/ BricsCAD and Landmark software.

You shall demonstrate previous NSW survey drafting experience and superior presentation skills in the following areas as a minimum;

Prepare identification, set out and peg out sketches from field notes.

Carry out calculations for boundary locations from field notes where survey marks have been connected to by field survey.

Reduce and produce DTM’s using Landmark software and import into AutoCAD / BricsCAD to finalise presentation, from downloaded data file and supporting field notes.

Prepare Strata Plans and Deposited Plans from calculation sheets and sketches provided by Surveyor. Plans shall show all connections and information as required for Registration at NSW Land Registry Services.

Conduct SCIMS and Title searches online as may be required.

Prepare draft Strata Plans and proposed Plans of Subdivision from Architectural drawings and sketches.

Liaise with field staff and clients to obtain results.

Salary is commensurate with ability and experience.
