About the company: Our client has been in operation for over 50 years and operates throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory. They offer professional services including surveying, town planning and mapping. Using the latest technology and utilising their experienced management teams they can deliver projects of all complexities.

About the Role:
Having recently secured several new projects, we are seeking Surveyors to work from the Cairns and Townsville office to work on construction, engineering, cadastral, feature surveys, town planning and GIS survey projects. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will work in teams and assist in the successful delivery of projects.
Duties:

• Reporting to the Area Manager
• Work both autonomously and in teams
• Manage survey equipment and software
• Conduct daily surveys
• Liaise with the area office
• Upload data
• Build relationships with clients and site personnel
• Manage your workloads

About the Requirements:

• Formal Surveying qualifications
• Ideally have 3+ years experience
• Experience of working on a multitude of projects
• Proficient with Leica Trimble or Sokkia Robotic Total Station
• GPS knowledge
• Experience of using software such as 12D and AutoCAD
• Be willing to live in Cairns or Townsville
• Have the desire to progress and become Registered
• Effective communication skills
• Driving licence
