About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide quality care and education to the children in the Childcare Centre on any particular shift, with any particular age group, under the direction of the Director, Assistant Director or Education Curriculum Advisor.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Assume the responsibility for the planning, implementation and evaluation the Kindergarten daily program including the room routine and experiences/activities suitable to the needs and interests of the children attending the Centre.
- Observe and document any child at the Centre, not only the children that you are allocated in your class.
- Organise and attend parent interview/meetings as required.
- Monitor, assess and document the children's individual progress in accordance with the National Law and Regulations and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Ensure a hygienic and safe environment is maintained at all times.
