Insurance Estimator – Quality Building & Insurance Repairs
Location: West Gosford, NSW | Full-time

We’re partnering with a well-established business that specializes in delivering high-quality building repairs and restorations following insurance claims. With a focus on precision and a commitment to customer satisfaction, they are looking for a talented estimator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site and desktop assessments of property damage related to insurance claims
• Determine causation and scope of works for repairs and restorations
• Prepare and submit detailed scope of works and accurate cost estimates
• Liaise with internal claims team, insurers, clients, and other stakeholders
• Review specialist and engineering reports to determine required works
• Provide maintenance advice where necessary
• Ensure reports and scopes meet internal quality standards
• Occasionally manage smaller projects independently
• Conduct minor remedial works or repairs on-site when needed
• Assist with variations and client reporting
• Conduct quality control audits and minor remedial works on-site if required
• Travel to support CAT events or during peak periods

Who We’re Looking For:

• 4–5 years in a similar estimating role preferred
• Strong background in insurance-related building work and repairs highly regarded
• Confident communicator — comfortable on the phone and face-to-face
• Must be comfortable working from heights and on roofs
• Must have strong attention to detail and deadline management skills
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction (CPC40120)
