This TERRIFIC mid-sized, forward thinking insurance repair builder, operating across 5 states, has an opportunity for a Home Assessor & Estimator to join their Head Office in Alexandria.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be part of the Desktop Assessing team, focused on;

Virtual assessments, report writing and estimators of BAU and small storm repair projects.

Deconstructing estimators received from insurance companies, applying policy knowledge, and creating estimate variations.

This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday in the Alexandria HO.

There is career progression pathways for the right person, leading to Senior Assessor or Team Lead.

The starting salary is $90,000 - $100,000 + superannuation (flexible dependent on experience).

If you are not familiar with insurance policy, training will be provided on the role.

ABOUT YOU

Experience working with an insurance repair builder preferred, in a Project Coordinator, Desktop Home Assessor, or Building Estimator context.

Construction Coordination or Construction Estimating experience outside of insurance also relevant - especially within the remedial, strata or residential building space.

Industry qualification such as Cert IV Building & Construction desirable but not necessary.

Computer confident.

Willingness to commit to the role long-term and grow with the company.
