About the Role:

We're looking for a Research Candidate to guide a team analyzing the communications, media, and digital markets. You'll drive key research projects that support regulatory decisions, manage a team of analysts, and engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Work within the research team, ensuring high-quality market analysis.

Work with internal divisions to understand research needs and deliver actionable insights.

Provide research support for policy development, regulatory decision-making, and external consultations.

Analyze market trends, technological changes, and their regulatory impacts.

Prepare and present clear reports to internal and external audiences.

About You:

Strong leadership and team management skills.(if applying for the EL1 role)

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Experience in research and market analysis in communications, media, or digital sectors.

Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.

Market/industry research, writing, editing skills, preferably experiencing working in government and with knowledge of how to produce government reports, bulletins and briefs.

This role will help to make an impact by shaping research that influences major regulatory decisions. You'll be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

This is a 6 month labour hire opportunity for someone ready to commence asap!
