Job Summary

This position requires an organised and attention detailed professional who will work closely within a dynamic team. The primary function of the role is to assist with laboratory work, including cleaning and organising the lab, supervised sample preparation, testing, and quality control to GMP and GLP standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Laboratory:

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in the laboratory.

Washing lab equipment, cleaning surfaces and ensuring equipment is thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

Administration tasks including printing labels, assisting to organise regulatory documentation including CoA & SDS, as well as record keeping and organisation of lab batch sheet records.

Replenishing stock of raw materials, packaging and other equipment such as PPE (gloves, hairnets) in the lab.

Maintaining records of expired raw materials and managing inventory in the lab.

Preparation of laboratory samples under supervision of the Laboratory Manager.

Assisting with quality control testing of lab samples and production batches (such as colour matching, pH testing, viscosity measurements)

Assisting with quality control testing of inbound deliveries of raw materials and record keeping.

Shipping and preparing of samples to customers ensuring relevant paperwork is included.

Preparing stock for web orders of raw materials (fill, label, prepare and print paperwork).

Assisting to prepare blogs for the website, including compiling research and where applicable, content creation

Other relevant lab duties as required

Education/Experience

Science Degree or Diploma preferred

Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal

Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement, with a positive outgoing, engaging, conversational style

Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities and/or projects with deadlines

Experience in using Google Drive and Microsoft Excel

Valid driver’s licence and own transport
