Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer
Location: Sydney and Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in TypeScript, serverless architecture, and a passion for building scalable fintech payment platforms. You’ll lead the development and maintenance of end-to-end solutions across our backend and frontend stack. This role requires someone comfortable owning features, making architectural decisions, and working with departments outside of the tech teams.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and deploy scalable applications using TypeScript, NestJS, and React

Build and maintain a 100% serverless infrastructure using AWS CDK, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB

Design and implement clean, accessible UIs with React and Chakra UI

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Write robust, testable, and maintainable code across the stack

Review code, mentor junior developers, and contribute to team best practices

Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system reliability and efficiency

Requirements

5+ years of full-stack development experience

Expert in TypeScript, with strong hands-on experience in NestJS and React

Proven experience deploying and scaling serverless applications on AWS

Proficient in AWS CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Step Functions

Solid understanding of frontend architecture, UI/UX, and responsive design using Chakra UI

Strong grasp of API design, event-driven architecture, and async workflows

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and Git-based workflows

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Nice to Have

Experience in fintech or real estate tech platforms

Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements

Prior experience in startup or fast-paced product environments
