Complete Staff Solutions Northern Rivers, in partnership with Ballina Shire Council, is seeking an experienced Plant Operator.

Location: Ballina
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 6:30 AM to 4:40 PM (4-day workweek)
Anticipated Engagement: 2-3 months

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating an excavator while performing a variety of laboring duties to support road construction programs. Your primary focus will be ensuring the successful operation of machinery while adhering to safety standards and construction timelines.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

High level of competence in operating an excavator in a civil construction and maintenance environment

HR Driver Licence

Demonstrated experience in civil construction duties, particularly related to roads and roadsides

Good communication skills (both oral and written) for effective coordination on-site

Work Safely in the Construction Industry Induction (White Card)

Class C Driver Licence

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

Certificate III in Civil Construction

Digital literacy, with competence in using computers, tablets, and smartphones

Traffic Controller ticket

Implement Traffic Control Plans ticket

Working Near Overhead Power Lines ticket
