Your new role
As a (part-time) Property Officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a diverse portfolio of properties. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in maintenance programs in liaison with relevant departments and building tenants.
- Coordinating and supervising reactive building maintenance tasks and resolving customer requests related to building maintenance for commercial licenced and leased properties and non-leased buildings.
- Maintaining accurate records on works undertaken, including processing requests, quotes, invoices, accounts, and contract payments.
- Providing sustained effective and timely customer service.
- Monitoring projects and works expenditure to ensure final costs are within budget constraints.
- Ensuring all appropriate actions are taken to implement occupational health and safety policies, practices, procedures, and legislative requirements.
- Providing support and assistance to the Property Portfolio Coordinator as required.
- Liaising with other parts of the organisation to ensure proper management and maintenance of properties.
- Providing contract management for a local caravan park, including managing the caretakers' contract.
- Acting as the main liaison for all enquiries and responsibilities regarding a local caravan park.
- Overseeing procurement for any maintenance works for leased and licenced buildings, along with procurement related to the management of a local caravan park.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in property management or a related field
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant property laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
