Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Design Engineer to design and planning of enterprise-grade wired and wireless networks for major hotel brands across global markets. This role is instrumental in delivering high-performance, reliable, and secure connectivity solutions that meet the demands of modern hospitality environments, ensuring exceptional guest and staff experiences.
Key Outcomes
Delivery of scalable, high-availability network designs tailored to large hotel environments.
Seamless WiFi coverage and capacity, optimized using Ekahau for predictive and post-deployment site surveys.
Integration of network infrastructure using enterprise platforms including Ruckus, Aruba, and Cisco Meraki.
On-time, on-budget project completion with stakeholder satisfaction.
Documented network architecture and handover packages for Commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement WiFi and LAN architectures for new and existing hotel properties.
Conduct predictive, passive, and active wireless surveys using Ekahau.
Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and hotel brand IT stakeholders to align technical specifications with business goals.
Familiar with Ruckus switches/APs/controllers, Aruba switches/AP/controllers, and Meraki cloud-managed solutions.
Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards and security best practices.
Evaluate briefs from the Commercial team and understand the site conditions to produce technical designs using best practice, that meets the minimum design standards and special requests.
Develop technical documentation, reports and records regarding infrastructure solutions.
Produce and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and configuration guides.
Stay current with emerging technologies in the WiFi and enterprise networking space.
Participate in design reviews and capacity planning to ensure future-proof solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering with a strong focus on WiFi and hospitality deployments.
Certifications such as CWNA/CWDP, ECSE (Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer), Aruba ACMP, or Cisco/Meraki certifications highly preferred but not essential.
Demonstrated experience with Ekahau for RF design and troubleshooting.
Proven hands-on expertise with Ruckus, Aruba, and Meraki networks.
Familiarity with network security, segmentation, and guest access solutions.
