About the role

LWA Solicitors' are looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join their dynamic team in Cairns, QLD. As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of residential property transactions, including preparing contracts, conducting title searches, and liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and great benefits.

What you'll be doing

Preparing, reviewing, and drafting contracts and other legal documentation for property sales, purchases, and transfers

Conducting title and other property searches to ensure all legal requirements are met

Communicating with clients, real estate agents, and other parties involved in property transactions to ensure a smooth and efficient process

Providing guidance and advice to clients on the legal aspects of property transactions

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all property transactions

Staying current with changes in property law and regulations to ensure compliance

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Conveyancer or in a similar legal role

Strong knowledge of property law and the conveyancing process

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and other stakeholders

Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure

Proficient in using legal software and technology

A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
