About the opportunity
The Administrative Assistant provides timely and accurate administrative support and outstanding customer service to the NSW SES and its clients, volunteers and members of the public to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Training Delivery team.
This opportunity is full-time temporary up until 30th June 2026.

About you
To be successful in this role you will:
Proven skills and knowledge in administration systems and services including data entry, purchasing, managing email inboxes and creating correspondence.
Provide high level customer service to NSW SES members and external suppliers.
Assist with preparing training course resources including catering, venue bookings, arranging equipment, and handling printed learner material.
Experience/understanding of emergency services and/or working within a Registered Training Organisation will be of benefit to the position.

Attractive salary package of up to $90,202.13 (salary range of $73,552 to $79,931). Total remuneration package includes 11.5% superannuation and leave loading

We are a volunteer-based organisation that provides emergency assistance to the people of NSW 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. It is the approximately 9,000 volunteers across the state that make this possible. NSW SES Volunteers come from all walks of life, bringing with them many different skills, interests and backgrounds. They are united by the purpose of supporting their communities in times of need.
