Our client is a well-respected and highly regarded WA owned and operated Legal Group that specialises in family, estate, commercial and criminal law. Due to continued growth in their commercial and private client practice, they are now seeking a dedicated Commercial Lawyer with experience in Wills & Estates to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity available in any of their WA offices, including Perth CBD, Joondalup, Mandurah, Bunbury or Albany.

The Role:

This position will see you working across a diverse portfolio of commercial matters, including contract law, business transactions, corporate structuring, property and leasing, and general commercial advice. In addition, you’ll support the firm’s Wills & Estates division by assisting clients with estate planning, probate, and contested estates.

You’ll be trusted to manage files autonomously, contribute to the ongoing development of legal strategies, liaise with clients, draft key documentation, and support the firm’s mission to provide responsive, clear and quality legal guidance. You’ll also collaborate with a wider team of talented professionals who are committed to excellence and teamwork.

To be successful, you will need:

• Degree in Law and an Australian practicing certificate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial law, ideally with exposure to Wills & Estates
• Strong drafting skills and ability to interpret complex legal issues
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build genuine client relationships
• A solutions-focused approach with a high level of professionalism
