We’re looking for a Design Engineer who’s confident with AutoCAD and Revit, thrives in a team environment, and understands the vital role fire protection plays in safeguarding lives and property. If you're meticulous, solutions-focused, and ready to influence major projects from design to commissioning—this one’s for you.

The role

• Designing fire protection systems in line with Australian Standards using CAD & Revit
• Performing hydraulic calculations and producing fabrication drawings
• Supporting project teams to deliver works on time, on budget, and to spec
• Liaising with site teams and reviewing designs with internal stakeholders
• Ensuring commissioning documentation is prepared and accurate
• Championing safety and mentoring junior engineers
• Ensuring compliance with codes, contracts, and internal systems like Procore

Requirements

• 5–7+ years in fire systems design (ideally with site exposure)
• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency essential
• Strong understanding of fire protection regulations and codes
• Great communicator with a solutions mindset
• Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Bonus: Experience with Procore, current engineering license
