Valmar Support Services has a current vacancy for four (4) permanent full-time Coordinators in our High Support Supported Living services. This position will provide a rewarding and challenging career move for those applicants who are seeking to exercise leadership in the provision of these services.

Summary of role:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The day-to-day running of the residential service, encompassing the direction and rostering of staff,
Arranging and responding to Person Centred Plans (PCPs) for clients,
Liaising and negotiating with families, the coordinators of other services within Valmar, the Community Visitor,
Ensuring that the residential services operate within procedural and budgetary guidelines.
Tracking and reporting all NDIS activity and all other billable activities.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Accommodation Services Manager
About you:
Hold appropriate post-secondary qualifications, Certificate IV or Diploma.
Ability to work shifts on a 24/7 basis
Experience or ability to work with clients with complex medical or physical needs, dual diagnosis, autism or Down syndrome.
Experience or ability to work with adults with disabilities in their own home environment within the community.
Have a positive commitment to improving the life options for people with disabilities including community engagement.
Possess behaviour management skills and training.
Possess high level written and spoken communication skills
Ability to undertake complex problem resolution in relation to staff and program delivery.
Have proven staff management and demonstrated financial management skills.
Have an understanding of, and willingness to work to health and safety guidelines.
Have well-developed computer skills in Word, Excel, internet, and electronic mail.
Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence and all relevant Covid-19 vaccinations.
Have or willingness to obtain First Aid Certificate, a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
