About the Opportunity
Shield Recruitment is proud to partner with a business to deliver mission-critical ICT support services. We’re looking for a motivated IT support Analyst to join a high-performance operations centre, monitoring real-time system health and ensuring rapid response to incidents.

This is a fantastic entry-to-mid-level opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of IT support experience looking to build their career in IT operations, monitoring and defence-grade environments.

Key Responsibilities

Active ‘eyes on glass’ monitoring of systems, applications, and infrastructure.

Raise and track incidents using ServiceNow.

Detect system events and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

Support DR simulation activities and shift-based coverage.

Communicate incidents and system health status clearly to stakeholders.

Assist with onboarding/offboarding and daily EOC processes.

Who We’re Looking For

Australian Citizen with Baseline or NV1 clearance (or the ability to obtain).

Experience in an IT support, NOC, SOC or Service Desk environment.

Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk) and ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.

Knowledge of ITIL principles, especially Incident and Event Management.

Confident communicator with attention to detail and a team-first mindset.

Additional Info

Shift-based role (24x7 rotating roster) with occasional on-call support.

Canberra-based with long-term government project alignment.
