Caffé Greco, Melbourne’s beloved dining institution, returns to Oakleigh, reviving its rich culinary heritage. And we are looking for an experienced Pizza Chef/Pizzaiolo to join our kitchen team full time.

Our menu celebrates Greek and Italian traditions with hand-stretched pizza, fresh made pasta and other Mediterranean classics.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated pizza chef with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with experience in hand-stretching of dough and overall knowledge of Italian pizza style making. Along with experience to assist other sections of the kitchen including larder.

What you will bring to our team:

Experience with hand stretching pizza dough

At least 2 years' experience as a Pizza Chef in a busy restaurant kitchen

Must be passionate about food with a strong work ethic and have a high level of skill and cleanliness

Availability over a 7 day roster

Great organisation skills

Someone wanting to learn and grow

Enjoy clean and organised environments

Must be a team player

Someone excited to bring their energy to our place

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Good understanding of hygiene and food safety principles
