We’re currently on the lookout for an energetic and caring Deputy Service Leader to join our service at Lucas Heights Community College in Barden Ridge. This is a permanent part-time role working Monday to Friday: mornings, afternoons and vacation care during school holidays.

About the Role

As the Deputy Service Leader, you'll play a key role in supporting the Service Leader with the day-to-day running of the service, while building strong relationships with children, families and the school community. You'll step into a leadership role when needed, while also being hands on in delivering exciting programs.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Supporting the Service Leader with daily operations, staffing, and compliance.

- Leading the service when the Service Leader is away.

- Creating a fun, inclusive and safe environment for children.

- Building strong, respectful relationships with families and school staff.

- Delivering engaging programs during before school care, after school care and vacation care.

- Supporting your team to grow and thrive.

What You’ll Need

- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting families.

- Experience in OOSH or a similar environment.

- A relevant qualification is preferrable (minimum Certificate III; Diploma preferred).

- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

- A Current First Aid (HLTAID012), CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training.

- Confidence, initiative and a team-first attitude.
