About the role

We currently have a vacancy for a full-time experienced CNC Machinists to join our team. In this integral role, you will be responsible for operating our CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Competently set up, operate and program Heidenhain or FANUC Milling machines

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine the most efficient machining process

Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software or G&M code to produce complex parts

Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency

Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment

Work collaboratively with the production team to meet tight deadlines and deliver projects on time

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:

Trade Certificate 3 in Machining or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years post trade experience in CNC Milling, Setting and Programming in a jobbing shop environment.

HEIDENHAIN or FANUC Milling programming experience is essential.

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

Must be able to work with minimal supervision within small teams.

Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable and confident.
