Job Opportunity:

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic Workshop Machinist to join the established team at Clayton. Position available for CNC Machinist (Milling) to join our team. With good quality CNC Mills, Bed Mills, and Manual type machines, you can gain experience on many different machines. Working in a clean workshop, with quality equipment, good conditions and well organised, will provide you with a great experience.

The Role:

Operation of a range of quality CNC machines and manual machines to manufacture and reclaim a wide variety of components related to various industries. The variety of work and the chance to apply your skills to the type of work that machinists like doing, will keep you engaged and learning every day.

Role requirements:

· Perform Precision Machining work as per job requirements

· Operate CNC machine (MAZAK) and manual type machines for Milling

· Proficiency in CNC programming languages (EdgeCam)

· Able to understand CAD and technical drawings.

· Interpret drawings and specific machining tolerances and finishes

· Complete work in a safe and effective manner

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Punctual, reliable with a positive attitude.

Job Type:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour (Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience).

Expected hours: 38 per week

Training will be provided
