Your new role

In your new role as an Operations Supervisor, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and will lead a team to deliver production outputs, with a focus on excellence in safety, quality, cost and customer satisfaction.

You will work the night shift, working hours of 10pm - 6:30am.

• Provide inspiring leadership and direction to direct reports to ensure a high performance culture is developed and maintained
• Lead the continuous improvement of safety performance on shift, including developing and promoting an effective safety culture and supporting training, accident prevention and development of staff
• Manage shift maintenance, equipment breakdowns and liaise with maintenance staff
• Achieve budgeted shift costs and production forecasts
• Implement best practice initiatives and drive continuous improvement processes on shift
• Create, implement and ensure maintenance of a sound industrial relations culture on site
• Maintain security of assets and provide accuracy of information through SAP
• Proactive approach to Safety Management and Management Systems
• Develop and maintain a highly engaged and productive team culture

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will need

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Expertise in problem-solving, conflict management and decision-making
• Experience of leading a team and people management
• Good general knowledge of OH&S principles and procedures
• Trade qualifications will be an advantage.
